Der Lido von Venedig ist ein beliebter Badeort für Venezianer und Touristen aus Italien und der ganzen Welt, der für sein kristallklares Wasser und seine schönen Strände geschätzt wird. Der Jugendstil prägt noch immer die gesamte Insel, begleitet von der Atmosphäre der "Belle Epoque", die im Spätsommer mit dem berühmten Filmfestival ihren Höhepunkt erreicht. Der Lido ist in wenigen Minuten mit verschiedenen öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen, und die ganze Insel kann mit dem Auto befahren werden, das dank der öffentlichen Fährverbindung mit dem Festland transportiert werden kann.
