Notre regard est immédiatement happé par ce bel escalier de style Art Déco. Ce n’est pas celui de la rue Cambon mais nous sommes certains chez Bliss, que Coco Chanel aurait pu l’emprunter. Blanc et très lumineux, créant un contraste élégant avec la rampe noire ornée de motifs géométriques, il est une pièce maîtresse de cette pépite cachée dans Condom et que l’on ne saurait imaginer.
Tout droit, une petite porte avec des carreaux délicats mène à des toilettes invitées et lavabo.
Toujours dans le prolongement de l’entrée, un premier accès à la chambre du rez-de chaussée dotée d’un parquet clair et de murs blancs. Une deuxième porte nous conduit vers ce qui deviendra très vite la salle d’eau en travertin et les toilettes de cette chambre.
Revenons sur nos pas dans l’entrée, et franchissons tout de suite à gauche, la double porte vitrée à petits carreaux anciens biseautés. Deux imposantes colonnes blanches confirment le style Art Déco, et nous accueillent dans ce salon très lumineux au parquet clair, et divisé en deux ambiances :
La première pour les cinéphiles avec un espace télévision, et la deuxième avec des fauteuils en cuir marron et un canapé noir face à une cheminée élégante en briquettes, espace idéal pour déguster un armagnac de la région tout en se laissant bercer par un air de jazz.
Le salon s’ouvre largement sur le jardin baigné de lumière grâce à une magnifique double porte bow-window. Le soleil couchant apporte des nuances ambrées à toute la pièce.
Au fond à droite, un espace encadré de boiseries blanches et de fenêtres à petits carreaux et crémones anciennes nous mène à une cuisine tout aussi spectaculaire. Un mur en pierres apparentes apporte une touche minérale en harmonie avec le sol en travertin. Des meubles et des plans de travail noirs, tranchent avec des murs immaculés et un plafond blanc d’où jaillissent des leds, créant ainsi une ambiance à la fois moderne et accueillante. C’est un espace suffisamment grand pour y organiser et accueillir des repas conviviaux pour toute la famille, et où les amis de passage y trouveront toujours une place.
Dans le prolongement de la cuisine, une porte fenêtre nous laisse entrevoir le cèdre majestueux trônant dans le jardin tel un gardien protecteur.

Nous arrivons sur un large palier. À gauche, la plus grande des chambres, éclairée par deux hautes fenêtres orientées vers l’Est et dotée d’un parquet en chêne, s’ouvre sur ce qui deviendra la plus grande des salles de bain. Tout est déjà aménagé pour accueillir, une baignoire, une douche, lavabos et des toilettes. Un joli sol en carreaux ciment probablement des années 50, avec ses nuances de bleus et de verts, ajoute une touche vintage et apporte un petit supplément de charme à cette maison surprenante.
