Just a few hundred meters from the house is Åkeröbadet, a shallow sandy beach with jetty, flat lawn and benches. If you want to take a trip to Norrtälje, the bus goes about 100 meters from the house. The summer town of Norrtälje is beautifully situated by the water, where there are plenty of nice restaurants and bars, there are also a lot of activities in the summer. If you want to take a day trip to Åland, the Åland boat leaves from Kapellskär, which is close by. In the immediate area there is a cozy café that also serves simple food.
