At the foot of the Kilsbergen lies Mullhyttan, which is referred to as the Gate to the Blue Mountains. The cabin is situated high up with a magical view down towards the lake Multen and the forests of Bergslagen in the small cabin area Torhyttan. You have patios on both sides of the house so you can follow the sun, there is another patio in the garden which is under cover. The cabin has an open floor plan between the kitchen and the living room. Here you also have a stove that can warm chilly evenings or just increase the cozy factor. One of the bedrooms has a double bed and the other room has a single bed and a sofa bed. The bathroom has a shower and toilet and a washing machine. Sheets and towels are included when you rent this cabin. You reach the lake closest through a rather steep path, well down by the lake there are jetties from which you can swim. A stand-up padel can be borrowed from the house owner, if you want to swim at a bathing place, there is one on the other side of the lake, for example Sixtorp. The limestone mines are a peculiar mining area where limestone, or lime stone as it is also called, was previously quarried. Because natural and almost vertical fissures in the rock were partially used during quarrying, huge open rooms with 10 - 12 m high smooth walls have been formed. Between these you pass through vaults blasted through the rock. The mine was mined at the end of the 19th century and was used for iron production in Degerfors. On the smooth walls you can see names, initials and dates carved by the miners. If you go on the Bergslagsleden, you have Stage 13 that passes Tryggeboda and from here there is a dead end to the mining area.

Am Fuße des Kilsberges liegt Mullhyttan, das auch als das Tor zu den Blauen Bergen bezeichnet wird. Das Ferienhaus liegt erhöht und mit magischem Seeblick zum Multen sowie Aussicht über die Wälder in Bergslagen. Sie wohnen hier im kleinen Ferienhausgebiet von Torhyttan. Sie finden Sitzplätze auf beiden Seiten des Hauses, damit Sie der Sonne folgen können. Zudem überdachte Terrassenfläche am Haus. Das Ferienhäuschen hat einen offenen Küchen-/Wohnbereich für das Familienleben mit Kamin für gemütliche Abende. Ein Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett, das zweite mit Einzelbett und Schlafsofa. Das Badezimmer verfügt über Dusche und WC sowie eine Waschmaschine. Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind inbegriffen, wenn Sie dieses Häuschen mieten. Der kürzeste Weg zum See führt über einen recht steilen Pfad. Unten am Seeufer gibt es einen Steg für Badegäste. Ein Stand-up-Paddel kann beim Eigentümer vor Ort evtl. ausgeliehen werden. Ein richtiges Badeufer findet man auf der anderen Seeseite, z.B. bei Sixtorp. Limstensgruvorna ist ein spannendes Bergbaugebiet, in dem früher Kalkstein abgebaut wurde. Beim Abbau entstanden im Gelände teilweise fast senkrechte Felsspalten mit 10 - 12 m hohen glatten Wänden. Dazwischen durchquert man ein Gewölbe, das in den Fels gesprengt wurde. Die einstige Mine wurde Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts abgebaut und für die Eisenproduktion in Degerfors genutzt. An den glatten Wänden kann man Namen, Initialen und Daten sehen, die von Bergleuten eingeritzt wurden.
