Regular readers will know we try to dissuade people from new builds. All from our experience of working as buyers agents here in Valencia (25 years this summer!). We know the common problems that come up. Delays in completion, snag lists not being seen to, living on a building site even after your property has been finished. So then, how about an almost-new build? This property was finished in 2021, and all the frustrations and issues have been sorted out long ago (and this is the important bit) by somebody who wasn't you.. . Slowly people in Valencia are starting to realize that the sun is not your enemy, and its nice to see some properties finally starting to appreciate the amazing quality of light we have here. Large windows throughout, orientation to catch the sun in the morning and the evening, and large terraces off the bedrooms upstairs to fully appreciate the view over the Turia river valley. Top materials too, and despite the minimalist appearance at first glance, in fact the house is full of warm wood surfaces inside, and touches of natural stone outside which makes it a much more homely sort of house than some of the sterile white boxes you see in places.. . In fact you could follow the riverside path all the way to the city, the river valley is only a couple of minutes walk from this property. However as you are also only 200 metres from the edge of Ribbaroja town, you could also just catch the metro from there that takes you all the way to the city, with easy change of lines for the airport and the beach.. . A top quality better-than-new property, in a great location. We like this a lot, its brilliant, in both sense of the word.
