The approx. 300-year-old half-timbered house was converted into this beautiful property in 1997. Care was taken to preserve as many original details as possible. This can be experienced throughout the house and offers a pleasant living comfort. Already from the street you can feel that something special can be discovered in the house. New and old substance, open areas and smaller rooms of the old half-timbered house are skilfully combined. The ground floor offers a generous entrance area with access to the adjoining inner courtyard. Via the staircase you reach the 1st floor, which is entirely dedicated to living and dining. The open kitchen area is spatially framed by exposed half-timbering. Typical for the time is the toilet on the floor in the hallway. On the 2nd floor there are two rooms and a bathroom with shower, free-standing tub, washstand and toilet. Butzbach with its 13 districts is located on the edge of the Hochtaunus nature park, north of Frankfurt am Main and has a direct connection to the Frankfurt-Kassel motorway. By train, Frankfurt am Main main station can be reached in 35 minutes. The "Pearl of the Wetterau" lies in the middle of a charming landscape and captivates with its romantic town centre with numerous half-timbered houses, winding alleys and picturesque squares. Modern new housing estates blend into the mature townscape and are evidence of a child- and family-friendly town. The large number of schools and kindergartens, after-school care facilities and many different recreational clubs also speak for this. Environmentally friendly industrial settlements bear witness to the growth and economic power of a modern town that has nevertheless not renounced its historically influenced townscape. Butzbach offers a wealth of sights for every taste. We have moved away from Butzbach for family reasons and would like to keep this house as it is. The house has a lot of charm and is centrally located in Butzbach. The train station is within walking distance. On the 2nd floor there are 2 bedrooms with 2 double beds - here we can also cater to individual needs. If you are looking for a very special accommodation for a certain time, this is the right place. Das ca. 300 Jahre alte Fachwerkhaus wurde im Jahr 1997 zu diesem schönen Anwesen ausgebaut. Er wurde sorgsam darauf geachtet, dass möglichst viele original Details erhalten bleiben. Dies ist im gesamten Haus erlebbar und bietet einen angenehmen Wohnkomfort. Bereits von der Straße aus ist zu spüren, dass in dem Haus etwas Besonderes entdeckt werden kann. Gekonnt verbindet sich neue und alte Substanz, offene Bereiche und kleinere Räume des alten Fachwerkhauses miteinander. Das Erdgeschoss bietet einen großzügigen Eingangsbereich mit Zugang in den angegliederten Innenhof. Über die Treppe erreichen Sie das 1. Obergeschoss, das ganz dem Wohnen und Essen gewidmet ist. Durch freigelegtes Fachwerk ist der offene Küchenbereich räumlich gefasst. Typisch für die damalige Zeit ist die Etagentoilette auf dem Flur. Im 2. Obergeschoss befinden sich zwei Zimmer und ein Bad mit Dusche, freistehender Wanne, Waschtisch und WC. Butzbach mit seinen 13 Stadtteilen liegt am Rande des Naturparks Hochtaunus, nördlich von Frankfurt am Main und hat einen direkten Anschluss an die AS Frankfurt-Kassel. Mit der Bahn ist der Hauptbahnhof Frankfurt am Main in 35 Minuten erreichbar. Die „Perle der Wetterau" liegt inmitten einer reizvollen Landschaft und besticht durch einen romantischen Stadtkern mit zahlreichen Fachwerkhäusern, winkeligen Gässchen und malerischen Plätze. Modeme Neubaugebiete fügen sich in das gewachsene Stadtbild ein und zeugen von einer Kinder – und familienfreundlichen Stadt. Hierfür spricht auch die große Anzahl von Schulen und Kindergärten, Hortmöglichkeiten und vielen verschiedenen Freizeitvereinen. Das Haus hat sehr viel Charme und liegt zentral in Butzbach. Der Bahnhof ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Im 2. OG gibt es 2 Schlafzimmer mit 2 Doppelbetten – hier können wir auch gern noch auf individuelle Bedürfnisse eingehen.
