It takes about 2 minutes to walk to the Deutzer Freiheit and 10-15 minutes to Cologne city center and the old town. If you prefer to take the train, you can get on almost directly in front of the door and is after only one stop at the Heumarkt. The Deutz train station is also only a few minutes away on foot.
