The conurbation Erlangen/Nuremberg/Fürth is located about 25 km south of Adelsdorf. 25 km to the north is the imperial and bishop's city of Bamberg with its historic old town, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1973. Herzogenaurach, the ancestral seat of Adidas and Puma is only about 20 km in south-eastern direction. Adelsdorf has an excellent infrastructure.
