The little Villa OLEFant in the heart of the Eifel National Park With Villa OLEFant you will be living in the historic town-center of Schleiden-Olef. In our lovingly furnished half-timbered house from the 16th century you will feel completely at ease. The building, which is under monument protection, was carefully renovated in 2004 and equipped with every comfort while still keeping its signature rustic character. The whole house breathes history. The unique atmosphere of the historic walls will take you on a journey through time. Located in the middle of the village, the building ensemble is a former farm. In addition to the main house with a view of the village square, the covered gateway and the adjacent garden area are available for your exclusive use. The accommodation Come in and relax! You will feel the special atmosphere of our “Knusperhäuschen” as soon as you enter. The entrance offers access to all rooms of the ground floor and forms the center of the house. Here you will find a cozy dining table for up to 6 people. Next door, in the spacious, fully equipped kitchen, up to four people can sit at the kitchen table and watch the hustle and bustle on the village square. As in the good old days, next to the kitchen there is the GUTE STUBE (the “good room”). Here you can spend cozy evenings and recharge for your next day full of adventure. In the modern bathroom on the ground floor you will find your own personal wellness oasis fully equipped with a large corner bath and a walk-in shower. Via the historic wooden staircase you can reach the upper floor with three comfortable bedrooms, each with double beds. All of these areas are at your disposal except for one small room, which we reserve as a utility room. In summer, life tends to mostly take place in the secluded garden and the yard. The wooden terrace behind the main house invites you to linger and unwind. Even when it rains, you can sit in a relaxed atmosphere under the historic gateway, protected at all times. Even on rainy days, the historic gateway allows you to sit outside, protected from the rain. In the outdoor area behind the barn you will find a small, farmers-style orchard during harvest time you can come and have a snack here... Neighbourhood is a top priority in the grown town center of Olef. Although we like to celebrate ourselves, we have to ask you to be considerate of the neighbours at all times and to avoid any noise. In the town-centre of Olef you will find a loving and considerate neighbourhood. Although we like to celebrate ourselves, we kindly ask you to return the consideration and to avoid making any loud noise. Neighbourhood. Our small villa OLEFant is located in the historic town-center of Schleiden-Olef. The house is one of numerous half-timbered houses on the market square. The track of the historic “Oleftalbahn” crosses the square and the little "train station" is only two minutes away from our villa. We are looking forward to it when the train is finally allowed to run again. Right in front of Villa OLEFant is the "Verrückte Stuhl” (“crazy chair”), an installation that attracts tourists with its optical illusion. Die kleine Villa OLEFant im Herzen des Nationalpark Eifel In der Villa OLEFant wohnen Sie mitten im historischen Ortskern von Schleiden-Olef. In unserem liebevoll ausgestatteten Fachwerkhaus aus dem 16. Jahrhundert werden Sie sich rundum wohlfühlen. Das unter Denkmalschutz stehende Gebäude wurde im Jahr 2004 behutsam saniert und mit allem Komfort ausgestattet, ohne den urigen Charakter zu stören. Das ganze Haus atmet Geschichte. Die einzigartige Atmosphäre des historischen Gemäuers wird Sie beeindrucken. Mitten im Ort gelegen, handelt es sich bei dem Gebäudeensemble um einen ehemaligen Bauernhof. Neben dem Haupthaus mit Blick auf den Dorfplatz stehen Ihnen die überdachte Toreinfahrt und der angrenzende Gartenbereich zur alleinigen Nutzung zur Verfügung. Reinkommen und sich sofort Wohlfühlen! Schon beim Betreten unseres Knusperhäuschens werden Sie das besondere Ambiente spüren. Das Entré bietet Zugang zu allen Wohnräumen des Erdgeschosses und bildet somit den Mittelpunkt des Hauses. Hier gibt es eine gemütliche Tafel für bis zu 6 Personen. Nebenan in der großzügigen, voll ausgestatteten Wohnküche finden bis zu vier Personen am Esstisch Platz und können dabei das Treiben auf dem Dorfplatz beobachten. Wie in den guten alten Zeiten gibt es neben der Küche die GUTE STUBE. Hier können Sie gemütliche Abende verbringen und die Seele baumeln lassen. Das moderne Bad mit der großen Eckbadewanne ist Ihre Wellness-Oase im Erdgeschoss. Über die historische Holztreppe erreichen Sie das Obergeschoß mit drei gemütlichen Schlafzimmern, jeweils mit Doppelbetten. In all diesen Räumen können Sie sich frei entfalten, nur ein kleines Zimmer im oberen Bereich behalten wir uns als Bewirtschaftungsraum vor. Im Sommer wird das Leben eher im uneinsehbaren Garten und auf dem Hof stattfinden. Die Holzterrasse hinter dem Haupthaus lädt zum Verweilen ein. Selbst bei Regen sitzen Sie in gemütlicher Runde unter der historischen Toreinfahrt jederzeit geschützt. Der im Bauernstil angelegte kleine Obstgarten befindet sich im rückwärtigen Außenbereich hinter der Scheune... hier darf zur Erntezeit genascht werden... Im gewachsenen Ortskern von Olef wird Nachbarschaft großgeschrieben. Obwohl wir selber gerne feiern, müssen wir Sie bitten, jederzeit Rücksicht auf die Nachbarn zu nehmen und jeglichen Lärm zu vermeiden.
