The terrace overlooks the countryside and the sea, after the sun sets you can admire the magnificent night sky.
Casas do Poente values a minimalist and environmentally friendly approach when it comes to amenities: solar panels were installed to heat the water and ecological materials were used to rebuild the houses.At Casas do Poente we use 100% renewable energy. The drive to use 100% renewable energy for electricity and heating is driven by climate change, pollution and other environmental issues.The house has central heating (underfloor heating) and a wood-burning stove, with lots of firewood, which provides fantastic comfort on cold winter days. The house also has high-speed Wi-Fi for digital nomads.You will also have 4 recycling containers at home - for plastic, glass, paper and organics. This is one of the easiest ways to combat global warming, as it avoids generating more pollution, so it is a positive attitude. Let's reduce our carbon footprint whenever we can!The house does not have a television or air conditioning.We are inspired by the principles of REGENERATIVE TOURISM and hope to learn from and contribute to a more regenerative way of traveling, so that visitors, when exploring a new place, can have a more positive impact on their destination, satisfying the primary needs of the community and the quality of life of the local population...
