To the north you can easily reach Halmstad with its fantastic beaches in Tylösand, its large entertainment offerings and all golf courses. Here Lagan winds around the city and there is fine salmon fishing and a smokehouse with restaurant. In winter you have Vallåsen's ski resort a short drive away.
