Nestled amidst gorgeous valleys and mountains, this 3-bedroom holiday home in Le Cheylard is ideal for a group of 6. It offers a fireplace to add warmth and bbq for cooking delicious sizzling meals. The chalet is located on the edge of Le Cheylard on the former railway line that runs alongside the river. Trains have not used the line for years. The tracks were removed in 1968 to make way for a peaceful little road that is only used by local residents, hikers and cyclists. A variety of hiking and cycle paths start here and run through or past a range of magnificent vistas. The town of Le Cheylard is where the rivers Eyrieux ( including Gorges) and Dorne meet. Saunter through the narrow streets with its old houses by the waterside or visit the Roman church, the Château de la Chèze from the 13th-century. With a river, down the valley and mountains on the other side. A pond has been made by the river where you can swim and fish. Interiors are welcoming to let you be comfortable here. Neben und vor dem Chalet befindet sich Ihre Terrasse mit Gartenmöbeln und Grill. Eine weitere, erhöhte Terrasse mit Kunstrasen dient als Garten mit vier Sonnenliegen und zwei Strandkörben. Die Einrichtung ist modern und komfortabel. Das Chalet liegt am Rand von Le Cheylard an der ehemaligen Eisenbahn, die entlang dem Wasser verläuft. Der Zug fährt schon seit Jahren nicht mehr. Die Bahnstrecke wurde 1968 entfernt und wurde mit einem ruhigen Weg ersetzt, der nur von den Bewohnern, Wanderern und Radfahrern genutzt wird. La voie ferroviaire a été supprimée en 1968 et a été remplacée par un petit passage qui est uniquement utilisé par les riverains, les promeneurs et les cyclistes. Ceci est le point de départ de plusieurs parcours faisables à pied ou à vélo, qui offrent des panoramas magnifiques sur les alentours montagneux.
