Meadows, forest and the tributaries of the Wümme characterize the landscape of Fischerhude. The adjacent Wümmewiesen nature reserve is ideal for walks, cycling and canoeing tours. The romantic town of Fischerhude is just a few minutes' walk away and has retained its natural charm with old half-timbered houses, old cobblestones and many quaint pubs. Fischerhude has also attracted many artists. In addition to the Otto Modersohn House, which exhibits a changing selection of his works, there are many small galleries, studios and art workshops to discover in the village. The Irmintraut Heritage House in an old half-timbered farmhouse is also worth a visit. It exhibits objects, furniture and traditional costumes from the rural world of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Bremen can be reached in about 30 minutes by car. Nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß erreichen Sie das romantische Fischerhude, das sich mit alten Fachwerkhäusern, altem Kopfsteinpflaster und vielen urigen Lokalen einen ganz natürlichen Charme bewahrt hat. Fischerhude hat auch viele Künstler angezogen. Neben dem Otto Modersohn Haus, das eine wechselnde Auswahl seiner Werke zeigt, gibt es im Dorf viele kleine Galerien, Ateliers und Kunstwerkstätten zu entdecken.
